The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience or 4 years without travel. Candidates will participate in an interview process. There is a strict 75-mile radius rule for candidates. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:6. Nurse aides are available with a general ratio of 1:8 to 1:10. On-call requirements are minimal, mainly for low census situations. The schedule rotates holidays with permanent staff. Scrub color for nurses is Caribbean Blue. Daily shifts start at 0645 and are 12 hours long. The unit encompasses a variety of patient diagnoses. Floating to other areas within the facility may be required. The facility has a pharmacy available 24/7. A dedicated IV team is not available; however, a critical response team operates 24/7. Candidates must possess C-section experience for this role. Candidates should have the ability to adapt to fluctuating assignments throughout their shift.
