Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: C-section experience required. Flexibility with changing assignments during the shift. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, including at least one travel assignment or four years of experience without travel. Interviews will be conducted with a designated RN. There will be no second interviews. The hospital operates a strict mileage radius rule. Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Nurse aides available with a typical ratio of 1:8 or 1:10. Float requirements to other specialties include Ortho, Neuro, Oncology, and Acute Care. ICU and ED staff may float to Cardiology. Pharmacy and critical response teams are available 24/7. Candidates will be required to navigate electronic medical records. Weekend and holiday rotations are required. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. Candidates will need to be aware of common diagnoses and types of patients treated in the unit.
